The owners of The Summer House have visited the seaside village of Sandilands for generations. You'll see why they love it when you stay in this spacious holiday cottage on a large corner plot just 200 metres from the sand. The Lincolnshire coast has plenty to offer visitors in all seasons. Whether you're here to build sandcastles, play golf, stride for miles along the breathtaking coast and sandy beaches, or enjoy the traditional sights of nearby seaside resort towns like Skegness. The three-bedroom coastal holiday rental comfortably sleeps up to six people and is dog-friendly.
The Summer House welcomes families, including their pets, to stay all year round. The charming holiday cottage is in the seaside village of Sandilands and is barely a 200-metre stroll from the dog friendly beach and cafes. Children and dogs can play in the large garden, which is securely fenced for their safety, and there is space for six people to sleep in three comfortable bedrooms. The peaceful location is within easy reach of popular attractions for you to enjoy exciting days out, yet it is wonderfully quiet even in the height of summer, so you'll never be fighting for a spot to spread out your beach towel.
Sandilands is just south of Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe on the stunning Lincolnshire coast. Considered something of a holiday secret, it's the sort of place where you'll find generations of families have taken their kids for a proper bucket-and-spade holiday without any of the noisy tourist trappings you'll find in seaside resort towns. Still, there's a lot to be said for a freshly cooked doughnut on a promenade, so you'll be relieved to learn that Skegness is just a scenic 12-mile drive down the coast with Mablethorpe even closer. Sandilands is a dog-friendly beach all year around. The unspoiled landscape has recently been designated as a wetland nature reserve to provide protection for native plants and migrating birds. It's truly a special place.
As well as seeing the lights of Skegness, your day trips can include walking along the coast, cycling and horseriding, and visiting the Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre at Mablethorpe. Splash around at the Lincolnshire Aquapark, go sightseeing from a carriage on the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway, learn about our aviation past at RAF Conningsby, and admire the interior and gardens of historic properties like Tattershall Castle. Anglers have the choice of course fishing as well as from the beach, while golfers will find an enjoyable challenge on the links at Skegness, Louth, and Woodhall Spa. Your days at The Summer House can be as fun-filled or relaxed as you choose.
