The owners are currently working on making their second Holiday Cottage on the Estate, and are taking bookings for short breaks and week-long stays for March 2017 onwards. The School House is a picture-perfect cottage for two in the lovely, quiet village of Burton-le-Coggles, off the beaten track at the heart of the Easton Estate in the Lincolnshire Vales, near the Rutland border, within walking distance of the award-winning Pub, The Cholmeley Arms. Guest will also have unlimited, free access to Easton Walled Gardens.
The perfect retreat for couples looking for a cosy, dog friendly getaway in beautiful countryside, or for anyone wanting to explore this unspoiled part of the country. There will be a fully fitted kitchen, a lovely sitting room with a woodburning stove, unlimited wireless internet, one lovely, cosy double bedroom and a huge bathroom with double-ended bath and walk-in shower.
Easton Walled Gardens are about 3 miles from Burton-le-Coggles and as a guest of The School House, you have free access to the gardens at all times, even when closed to the general public. Explore the rediscovered gardens of the former Easton Hall, and enjoy nearly 12 acres of beautiful grounds, with seasonal highlights from snowdrops to sweet peas, and from tulips and daffodils to roses and meadows.
The School House is located a few miles off the A1 in rolling countryside, in the small village of Burton-Le-Coggles on the Lincolnshire/Rutland border. The excellent local pub, The Cholmeley Arms, is just a short stroll away. The larger village of Corby-Glen is just a 5-minute drive away, here a wider range of amenities can be found. The market town of Stamford is just a 20-minute drive away. Guests at The School House will never be bored with free, unlimited access at all times to the Easton Walled Gardens, it makes the perfect base for those wishing to further explore this undiscovered and beautiful part of the country there are great houses, cathedrals and gorgeous rolling countryside dotted with limestone cottages.
