The Wheel Inn is just five minutes walk away and has good meals. Belvoir Castle is a few minuteâs drive away. Stamford, Oakham and Peterborough are within an hour. Burghley House is superb, with very good gardens. Lovely villages on the back roads to Rutland.

Cottage had everything we needed. Bed was so comfortable. Diana was very friendly and nice to know she was close by if needed. Several local attractions including Belvoir Castle, Belton House and Woolsthorpe Manor within an easy drive. Cotgrave parking and ride for Nottingham only half hour drive. Would definitely recommend. Couldn't fault it.

Loved being here. The cottage was immaculate and homely. The property owner was exceptionally helpful to me on my arrival. The location is superb for travelling around and a great base. We would love to return again.
