This beautiful and caringly created Shepherd’s Hut is situated within the stunning grounds of Astwell Mill, a once working mill that finished its production in 1929. It is now a working sheep farm, with horses and countless kinds of wildlife that inhabit the beautiful grounds and its lake. Astwell Mill Shepherd’s Hut gives guests a unique chance to wind down and relax whilst taking in the breath-taking scenery and everything this amazing piece of Northamptonshire landscape has to offer. Astwell Mill is close to so many fantastic places to visit, including multiple National Trust properties, some of which include Canons Ashby House and Stowe Gardens. A little further afield is the stunning Blenheim Palace, perfect for a day out, or alternatively visit the once secret site of the World War Two Codebreakers at Bletchley Park. Situated just a 15-minute drive away is also Silverstone, the home of Formula 1 in the UK and a must see for any car enthusiast. Silverstone hosts multiple events each year some of the most popular being the British Grand Prix, the motogp and Silverstone Classic Cars. Astwell Mill Shepherd’s Hut is also ideal for enjoying the countryside with countless walking trails and cycle options in addition to lots of places to stop for a drink or a bite to eat.
