The Gatehouse was a wonderful home for two families to share for an annual meet up. Every room was spacious and clean, the furniture comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We received a lovely welcome email with top tips of what to bring to enhance our stay. The games room was a great hit with the kids, and I would love to return in fairer weather to make use of the lovely outdoor space.

We have never seen such a well thought out house in such a beautiful surrounding. It was comfortable and cosy whilst also being modern. The rooms are all decorated to a high standard and furnished beautifully. We had a family celebration and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to put on a large buffet. What a great selection ovenware, pans, crockery and glasses. First class. All Beds were comfy, the bathrooms offered shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and the rain shower was excellent. Those that used the hot tub enjoyed it. The welcome pack was greatly received by both us and our dogs. Thanks go to Jennie who was an excellent host. Highly recommend this holiday location.

It met all our expectations and the boys particularly loved the games room. It was spotlessly clean and the information provided by the owners was excellent. It was easy to get to lots of places of interest, which we certainly did. It was perfectly safe to let the dogs play in the enclosed garden and they loved it , as well as all the lovely walks around the village. The only negative was no Sky tv and we do all love our football so we did miss that but we managed for a week
