It met all our expectations and the boys particularly loved the games room. It was spotlessly clean and the information provided by the owners was excellent. It was easy to get to lots of places of interest, which we certainly did. It was perfectly safe to let the dogs play in the enclosed garden and they loved it , as well as all the lovely walks around the village. The only negative was no Sky tv and we do all love our football so we did miss that but we managed for a week

Communication was great from the owner and the additional directions were very clear and we had no issues finding the property even though it's tucked away. Lots to keep you entertained at both the property and many activities within a 30 minute drive such as Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines and Matlock Bath was a great day out for us all. Would highly reccommend for a great family break!

Everything was as we expected and even better. I was not sure what to totally expect as we sometimes struggle to find local evening walks for our dog in some places. There were also plenty of walks locally to keep him entertained as well as places to visit within short driving distances. We would definitely go back there again. The pub that was within a short walk was OK to visit with our dog, though they're only allowed in the beer garden.
