Cedar Lodge in Oakham, Lincolnshire, is highly praised for its luxury, cleanliness, and peaceful environment. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and the presence of a hot tub and sauna. The lodge offers a relaxing and comfortable stay, with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities contributing to a delightful experience.
The lodge receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests noting the property's spotless condition upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness is consistent, although there were minor mentions of external cleanliness issues, such as bird droppings and window dirt, which slightly affected the score.
There is insufficient information to accurately score the location. While guests mention a peaceful area and proximity to a village and pub, there are no specific comments on the location's convenience or attractiveness to provide a comprehensive score.
Guests find the lodge to be spacious and relaxing, with luxurious touches that contribute to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with bed comfort and noise from the hot tub's cleaning cycle, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.
The facilities, including the hot tub, sauna, and on-site pool, are generally well-received. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as sauna tripping electrics and hot tub temperature inconsistencies. The presence of a well-equipped kitchen and the availability of a swimming pool are positives, but the need for improvements in maintenance affects the score.
The thoughtfulness of the staff and the provision of welcome packs are frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests. While these gestures are highly valued, it is noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed for every stay.

The last twice we were there you got free half hour swims, this time you only got one free swim after that it was £16 for a half hour swim which I felt was expensive, and added a large expense on to your holiday as the swimming pool was one of the reasons I retuned to Cedar lodge.
