Enter the lodge through the sundeck, where the open-concept living area will definitely be the main attraction during your visit. While making plans for the next day, you can prepare dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, which features a two-ring hob, air fryer, slimline dishwasher, and more, and serve it at the dining table or out on the private decking. Take a dip in the hot tub and enjoy stargazing, or spend the evening relaxing in front of the wood-burning stove while watching your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The community area outside invites you to take in the idyllic surroundings. Refresh yourself in the modern bathroom with its P-shaped bath before retiring for the night. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, that provide space for sleeping for families with kids as well as couples and friends, complete the interior. Edith Weston is a pretty little village with lovely stone cottages, a pretty little church with a stained glass window inside, as well as a village shop. Post Office and pub. The nearby Rutland Water offers something for all and includes a Visitor Centre, shops, cafes and restaurants. Further afield are the towns of Stamford and Oakham with an excellent variety of independent shops, recognised retailers, character-rich pubs and range of restaurants as well as a weekly market every Friday. This is known as the playground of the East Midlands with water sports, nature reserves, an outdoor adventure centre and plenty of cycling and walking.
