Edith Weston 1.9 miles. Otter's View is a stylish lodge located in the picturesque countryside of South Luffenham, Rutland. With a wood-fired hot tub, open-plan living space, and fantastic outdoor spaces, both private and communal, this home is an excellent choice for groups, families, or even couples looking for a calm getaway. When you arrive, look for off-road parking to make unloading your bags easier. Step up onto the sundeck and into the lodge, where the open-plan living space will undoubtedly serve as the focal point of your stay. Dinners may be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a two-ring hob, air fryer, slimline dishwasher, and more, and served at the dining table or on the private decking while you plan the next day's schedule. Unwind for the evening in front of the woodburning stove while watching your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or take a plunge in the hot tub and stargaze. Outside, the community space encourages you to enjoy the picture-perfect surroundings. Before going to bed, refresh up in the bathroom, which has a contemporary design and a P-shaped bath. Edith Weston is a pretty little village with lovely stone cottages, a pretty little church with a stained glass window inside, as well as a village shop. Post Office and pub. The nearby Rutland Water offers something for all and includes a Visitor Centre, shops, cafes and restaurants. Further afield are the towns of Stamford and Oakham with an excellent variety of independent shops, recognised retailers, character-rich pubs and range of restaurants as well as a weekly market every Friday. This is known as the playground of the East Midlands with water sports, nature reserves, an outdoor adventure centre and plenty of cycling and walking.
