On arrival the wood burner was fired up .. the hot tub steaming, the sauna toasty warm and the cold dip pool on the large decking. Talk about inviting. There was a fire pit and comfy rattan that we were able to enjoy. The house was spotless. Bathroom gleaming, beds all made with crisp white linens. White robes hanging symmetrically too. Allen the owner was extremely friendly. He met us at the entrance and showed us around the house pointing out where all the switches were with instructions. He also was just a phone call away. The house and garden is extremely private with lovely views over the fields. We were a group of 7 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday. We have all said we would come back with our families. We only travelled 30 minutes to this wonderful destination and we felt transported into a magical haven. Location is excellent. 3 beautiful old towns a stones throw away and Rutland water on the doorstep. So yes we all would recommend Rabbit Hole at Watermill Retreat.

The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed! It was very private, you couldnât hear or see anyone else. The kids enjoyed the hot & cold tubs, Allen also bought round a goal for our son to play football. Allen was very helpful, he checked in with us daily and heated the hot tub everyday, he told us all about the future plans for Watermill Retreats it sounds great! Look forward to returning
