About this property
This luxurious retreat welcomes families and friends to share a fabulous getaway near the Rutland Water Nature Reserve, and with access to all the amenities at Oakham. The open-plan living room boasts a quality finish, flowing seamlessly from the kitchen, through to the dining and sitting areas. The bedrooms offer a cosy yet spacious feel, with beautiful bed linens, bedside tables and sumptuous carpet. The master bedroom boasts a double bed and an en-suite shower room, whilst a further two bedrooms share the family bathroom. Outside, you can relax on the patio or enjoy the on-site facilities. The Rutland Water Reservoir boasts all manner of outdoor activities, from fishing and golf, to thrilling watersports. This village is set in the East Midlands county of Rutland. The Fox and Hounds public house overlooks the tree-planted green, offering cosy winter evenings around the fireplace. Oakham is the nearest town, boasting a combination of stone and thatched buildings, a range of shops, as well as pubs, bars and eateries to choose from. There is also a local history museum, a 12th century castle and a 14th century church. The Rutland Water Nature Reserve offers watersports, a small water adventure park, birdwatching and a sailing club, as well as fishing.
