The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with direct access to Epping Forest for walks and proximity to local shops and the tube station. Its seclusion and peacefulness, alongside the convenience for London access, are greatly valued.
The property is repeatedly described as comfortable, with cozy beds and high-quality linens. However, a few guests mention a chilly shower room and a lumpy sofa, slightly detracting from the overall comfort.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and quality furnishings. Some minor issues are raised, such as a non-working toaster and suggestions for additional safety features. Maintenance of outdoor areas could be improved.
