For some medieval history, visit the newly restored Hay Castle, open to the public for the first time in its 900 year history, with interactive displays, galleries, regular exhibitions and events, and a shop and café. Walkers are well served with access onto the Offa s Dyke footpath and Wye Valley Walk. For a quieter and easier stroll, but still with spectacular views, the Roundabout Walk on The Begwns above Clyro is a good one to start with.
