A charming, end-terrace cottage resting within the centre of the bustling town of Keswick, situated a short distance from Derwentwater and the River Greta. This wonderfully presented property is perfect for a couple or friends looking to explore this wonderful part of the Lake District, with plenty of attractions and activities to suit a group of all ages and tastes. After an action-packed afternoon, be welcomed in by the well-equipped, open-plan living room, where you and your loved ones can gather to enjoy a relaxing evening in. To the rear of the space you will find a well-equipped kitchen, housing everything you could possibly need to whip up a delicious home-cooked meal. Joining the kitchen is a sitting area, where you can curl up on the plush sofa and tune into the TV or select a DVD to watch before heading to bed. As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase and retire to one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double and a standard double bedroom, each serviced by one spacious bathroom, complete with a shower over bath, basin and WC. To the rear of the property is a small seating area. A fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity enabling you to pick up any essentials, or eat out at one of the many pubs restaurants and takeaways which await you. To explore the area further, venture North and spend some time at the Lake District Wildlife Park, or if you are feeling active hike up the mountain peaks of Skiddaw, Blencathra, Latrigg of Catbells. Alternatively, hop onto a boat and enjoy a leisurely cruise around Derwentwater, or brush up on the local history spending some time at the Castlerigg Stone Circle. The Old Betting Shop is a wonderful base for exploring this pretty part of the Lake District with your loved ones.
Keswick is a bustling town resting to the North of the Lake District, just a short distance to Derwentwater.
