Located in the pretty village of Lorton Vale, this home is close to a pub and just 100 metres from a village shop, ideal for picking up essentials. It s also a great place for walking, with access to the western Lake District s marvellous countryside right on the doorstep. The lakes Crummock and Loweswater are 4 miles away. Enjoy fishing, walking, boating and sightseeing in these beautiful areas. The Georgian market town of Cockermouth is 4 miles away, great for perusing independent shops and dining out. Whinlatter Forest Park (3.5 miles) is filled to the brim with cycling and walking routes as well as a fantastic Go Ape attraction. This single storey home has two entrances, with space for coats and boots in both areas. Head through to the open plan kitchen/diner where you ll find everything you need for a fantastic self catering stay in the Lake District.
