These include a wealth of excellent eateries, shops and places of interest. Just round the corner from the apartment is the town's delightful art deco cinema and less than 5 minutes away you'll find yourself at The Theatre by the Lake which shows a varied programme of plays, comedy, music and festivals throughout the year. For the adventurous among you, Keswick could scarcely be better placed with its position on beautiful Derwentwater meaning visitors can kayak, sail, row and swim while its proximity to the mountains offering walking, mountain biking, climbing and much more.

The accommodation is an immaculae ground-floor apartment, all on one level making it ideal for anyone needing easy accessibility. The entire apartment has been thoughtfully decorated with a light colour scheme, local artwork and champagne carpets giving it a warm luxurious feel from the moment you enter.

On arrival at the property, there is a glass porchway to leave any muddy boots behind after a day on the fells. From here you enter the main door into the bright elegant interior. The wide hallway has hanging space for coats and is a warm and welcoming introduction to the rest of the appartment. On the right as you go through here the first room you reach is the light modern shower room. This has a beautiful spacious corner shower enclosure with a large mixer shower, perfect for massaging away any aches and pains from all those long walks.

Beyond this you reach the gorgeous master bedroom. As with the rest of the apartment, the decor has been carefully chosen, in this instance it has a leather double bedstead, beautiful soft furnishings, a built in wardrobe, oak cabinets and dresser. The super-king bedroom once Again has cosy throws and elegant decor while also benefiting from built in wardrobes and a beautiful view over the town to the fell tops beyond. This bedroom has zip-and-link beds which can be changed into a twin bed upon request.

The living and socialising spaces in this property are wonderful. Firstly to the kitchen/diner. This is a beautiful roomy area with several windows letting the light just flood in. The wooden kitchen is very well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, a double fan oven at a convenient height, an easy access fridge, gas hobs and all the crockery, glassware and utensils you might need. The dining area has a substantial wooden table and chairs which is perfect for long after-dinner chats. This room has a cuboard with washing machine and dryer. A further storge cupboard houses an undercounter size freezer. The living room has two deep comfortable sofas oak furniture and a large window offering tons of light and a lovely view over to the fell tops. It benefits from a large television with DVD player (not Blue Ray) , some books which have been thoughtfully left by the owner and a gas effect fire for snuggling up around on chilly evenings. It's an absolutely gorgeous room to relax in after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.

Outside there is a communal garden which is laid to lawn with trees and shrubs, an ideal spot for children to play in or adults to sit and relax on those balmy summer evenings.

There is a designated off-road parking space at this apartment, an added bonus in the centre of Keswick!
