While parking and steep stairs are noted concerns, the cottage's cleanliness and well-equipped nature contribute to a generally positive experience.
Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy upon arrival, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with dust and stained mattresses, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness standards.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being peaceful yet just minutes away from the town centre, restaurants, and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring Keswick.
Guests generally regard the cottage as comfortable, with cosy furnishings and a cool interior during hot weather. Some concerns are raised about the steep stairs to the kitchen, which may affect guests with mobility issues.
The cottage is well-equipped and guests are satisfied with the amenities provided. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as unreliable Wi-Fi, a broken shower control, and a leaking towel rail, indicating a need for attention to facilities.
