Oak House in Keswick is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. While some concerns about price increases and minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests returning and recommending the property.
Guests consistently describe the property as immaculate, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.
The property's location is frequently highlighted as ideal, being quiet yet within walking distance to the town centre and local attractions, contributing to its high rating.
Comfort is often mentioned, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the house cosy. Some guests noted the sofas were too soft and the ground floor a bit small for larger groups, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped for guests' needs. However, some guests suggested improvements such as additional fridge space and outdoor seating, indicating room for enhancement.
While guests express gratitude for the thoughtful touches and welcome packs, there is insufficient information to determine if these are consistent offerings, thus a score cannot be provided.

Great location near town but always had parking in nearby roads. The property is spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished. Plenty of cookware in the kitchen. Bathroom towels were soft and fluffy, the beds were divine. We would be delighted to return in the future. Thank you for sharing your property.

Oak Cottage is perfectly situated for getting out and about in the hills, or just for the shops, pubs and restaurants in Kesick.

The owners are caring and quick to respond to any issues ( not that there have been many over the years)) ! The property suits groups of friends and families and is very well equipped. It is well placed near the centre of Keswick but away from the main bustle of the high street. We will return again next year and look forward to it.
