Prospect Lodge. A delightful one-bedroom Lakeland cottage, offers a serene retreat for two in the charming village of Portinscale, a short walk from Keswick.
Spread over three floors, this property maximises its stunning views. Ascend to the second floor to find a twin bedroom, featuring two single beds, and a bathroom with bath, basin, and WC, all with a characterful, sloping, under-eave ceiling.
The first floor hosts a comfortable lounge, boasting magnificent views of Derwentwater, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the fells.
On the ground floor, a well-equipped kitchen/diner provides a welcoming space for meals, leading to a convenient WC and utility area, ideal for drying walking gear.
Enjoy modern comforts, including gas central heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and Smart TV. High-speed broadband Wi-Fi is also provided.
Fuel and power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental. A travel cot is available for young guests.
Two well-behaved pets are welcome, though please note they are not permitted upstairs.

Portinscale, Near Keswick on the Northern edge of Derwentwater has 2 local pubs serving excellent bar meals, and a village store and tearooms. There are two marinas on the lake shore where sailing, windsurfing and canoeing are offered. There is also a jetty where you can board a wooden launch and take a leisurely cruise around the Lake. The breathtaking Newlands Valley is within walking distance as is the Market town of Keswick (1 mile) where you will find an abundance of shops restaurants, parks and museums.
