Travel cot and highchair available on request.. Lawned garden with patio, terrace and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a sloping bank in the garden.. Fellfoot is a detached bungalow that has a prime spot with its uninterrupted picture perfect views. If you do manage to tear yourself away, you will find excellent and comfortable accommodation, with a bright and airy living room also with an enjoyable view of the lake, a modern fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, range style cooker and dishwasher. Both bedrooms are at the front so you are never far away from the scenery morning, noon and night. Outside, the flora and fauna of the gardens can be enjoyed from the ample sitting area and with a woodland back drop you can enjoy the colour all year round.
The picturesque village of Hawkshead is just down the road, with its many tearooms, gift shops and pubs. The centre of the village is traffic free, so wander through the many arched side streets, squares, and enjoy the higgledy-piggledy houses that inspired both William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter in their day. Nearby Esthwaite Water is one of Lakeland’s lesser know lakes, but still has plenty to offer such as trout fishing, or you could hire a boat for the day. For guests who enjoy wildlife take one of the many trails around the shoreline and keep your binoculars to hand, you may be lucky enough to spot one of the visiting ospreys. Beach 22 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
