Close to the pretty village of Cartmel, The Mistral is part of a historic barn conversion and stepping from the courtyard through the main entrance hall the front door opens to this welcoming home. Stairs lead to the first floor living accommodation with a spacious open plan sitting room with kitchen and dining area, high beams, pretty windows and handmade shutters all add to the character of this room. Comfortable leather sofas are arranged in front of the TV and the kitchen area benefits from a generous family dining table. Returning to the ground floor, there is a choice of two bedrooms which are complemented by a super shower room.
To the side of the cottage there is a small patio area with picnic table. The cottage benefits from one private parking spaced and shared laundry facilities.
The popular “foodie” village of Cartmel is less than a ten minute drive from the cottage with a great choice of award winning eateries and country pubs accompanied by artesian foods shops. Garden lovers will head to the nearby Holker Hall and Lake Windermere is only a few minutes drive from the cottage.
