Surrounded by fells offering beautiful scenery all year round, this is a perfect base for walking, climbing, fishing (national fishing licence required), sailing and boating with Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness all nearby.
After time spent exploring take a dip in the heated indoor pool with sauna followed by a relaxing evening in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant.
Accommodation is within easy reach of the lake and clubhouse, however please be aware that there may be steep gradients and undulating ground.

Shocking lodge, didnt look like anything that i thought i booked.

Some blinds didn’t work, the shower was difficult to turn off once on. The fridge had no shelves in the door for milk, cooker door also dodgy but didn’t matter as wasn’t cooking

Didn't want to leave, as Arnie said "I'll be back". Been to lots of holiday camps, Whitecross bay was just what we needed.
