Perched in the beautiful Langdale Valley in Chapel Site at the heart of the Lake District National Park rests this delightful property, Fellside View. Welcoming six guests and two well-behaved dogs, Fellside View boasts off-road parking, open-plan living and close proximity to amenities and attractions, offering an idyllic spot to enjoy time away amongst some of the best scenery the area has to offer. Enter on the first-floor where an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area awaits, kick off your shoes and unwind on the sofa where you can enjoy distant vistas across the Brathy River while the designated chef of the group whips up tasty dishes with use of a fantastic range of appliances in the kitchen. Settle down at the dining table to tuck into a feast, be sure to reflect on the cherished memories you have created so far before enjoying some light entertainment on the Smart TV. When the evening draws to a close, retire to either a double where you can watch the sheep grazing on Lingmoor Fell, a twin or bunk room to catch your sleep, all delicately presented and offering plenty of storage space to house your personal belongings. Complete your routine in a spacious bathroom and indulge a long soak or revitalising shower before drifting off to a deep sleep, ready for another day of adventures. If you can tear yourself away, the Langdale Valley can be enjoyed any time of year as can a plethora of fantastic walks which offer plentiful pubs along the way where you can stop for a well-earned drink or a hearty meal. Begin your morning with a stroll to Rydal Cave, ensuring to stop off at Loughrigg Fell and Skelwith Force along the way where you can admire the natural beauty of cascading waterfalls and unspoiled landscapes. From your doorstep, the former home of the famous poet, Wordsworth Grasmere is a must-see as is The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Windermere; literature enthusiasts may also appreciate a visit to Hill Top, where the much-loved author used to live. Try your hand at a variety of water sports on Windermere Lake including paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing or bask in a more peaceful adventure in Holehird Gardens or Orrest Head Viewpoint where you can delight in a picnic which magnificent vistas as your backdrop. A charming little community tucked up in the stunning Lake District National Park. A fantastic hidden gem, Chapel Stile is situated at the bottom of a magnificent valley, bordered on one side by the River Brathay, surrounded by breathtaking landscape, and boasting wonderful slate and stone structures. The village features a historic church built in the middle of the nineteenth century as well as a café, a pub, and a local store that has been around for well over a century. Chapel Stile is a fantastic starting point for touring this National Park because it provides quick access to many interesting vistas and fells. You must visit the charming neighbouring community of Elterwater, where you must simply stand on the Skelwith Bridge and soak in the scenery. Ambleside and Kendal, two wonderful Lake District towns that are close by and have a tonne to offer in terms of vistas, architecture, and activities, can be reached in a short amount of time by car. Visit Bowness-on-Windermere if you enjoy the great outdoors; it's great for families and offers fantastic lake activities.
