Set rurally on the outskirts of Newby Bridge, Cumbria is Myra's View, a delightful barn conversion, inviting two guests. Ideal for a couple or friends sharing, Myra's View offers a tranquil escape whilst well-positioned in the Lake District National Park, offering the ideal base for exploring its delights.

Benefit from off-road parking for two cars, before entering this stone-fronted abode, oozing beauty and charm.

Be welcomed into the spacious kitchen/diner, housing everything you'll need for a relaxing stay, where you can prepare meals and dine as a two, before unwinding in the homely sitting room, featuring a TV, ample seating, and lovely, original features. The home also benefits from an external utility, where you'll locate the washing machine, tumble dryer, and outdoor furniture, along with ample storage to store your bikes or sporting equipment.

After exploring your surroundings by foot, head for a long soak or a refreshing shower in the en-suite, before resting in one of the two double bedrooms on offer. Awaken to a fresh coffee, before planning your impending itinerary, starting off at the Predator Experience, the Lakes Aquarium, and Fell Foot vantage point, offering far-reaching views of Lake Windermere.

Head for the shoreline to tour Grange-over-Sands and its sweeping beach, or discover the enchanted grounds of Holker Hall & Gardens, before grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafés dotted across the promenade.

The Lake District National Park's Lindale, a little community in the south of the park that is now a unesco World Heritage Site and is only a few miles from Lake Windermere, is ideal for vacationers. This charming village, which is surrounded by the allure of The Southern Lakes, and has a convenient gastropub, The Royal Oak, makes an excellent location from which to enjoy the entirety of this magnificent region. Cartmel, a charming village to roam around and famous for its delectable sticky toffee pudding, 12th-century priory, National Hunt horse meetings, and upscale restaurants, is only a short drive away. Another option is to travel to the picturesque seaside Edwardian town of Grange-over-Sands. Go along the seafront, then make your way back through the charming, winding lanes that are home to some excellent tea places and specialty stores including a bakery, chocolatiers, and award-winning butchers.
