The property is in an ideal location and has a true lodge vibe, with a wooden ceiling in the living room. The couch was really comfy. The kitchen and dining area is a little cosy, but the table is of a high quality and when you’re on holiday, you don’t always eat in anyway. The lounge is spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. The weather was very windy due to the storm, but we felt nice and warm in the lodge and used the great facilities on site and in nearby Windermere. I had a query and needed to contact the owner, who responded quickly. All in all, I would really recommend this property.

Excellent communication regarding the key collection and directions to the lodge. Absolutely lovely touch of a Christmas tree and a few decorations really made the weekend. Only downside is the decking is absolutely lethal especially around the hot tub area, which could also do with a clean round, and both security lights maintained so they work, as the park is very poorly light also. There is very poor/inadequate lighting inside the lodge ensuite and all the bedrooms. Apart from that a fantastic stay in a warm comfortable lodge we will definitely return.

The lodge has everything you need for a great stay. There as some parts of the lodge looking a little tired, but still a nice lodge.
