Spotlessly clean and great outdoor spaces also very quiet rd = would highly recommend but remember to bring an inhaler to get you up the hill leading to the property albeit there is an alternative route which isnt as steep

The property was well furnished and the kitchen had good quality utensils, crockery etc etc. Information about things to do and see was provided along with plenty of games, dvds for everyone to use. With 2 teenage grandchildren Lingmoor is a great cottage for the whole family. One suggestion would be to include that the location means climbing a very steep hill from Bowness. Kept us fit, though!

The property is spacious with a large lounge and dining area, and a large kitchen with all the appliances and kitchenware needed (just couldn't find a cheese grater!). Access to outdoor areas front and rear is great for sitting out in the evenings, or morning with breakfast. Bedrooms all large and comfortable with lovely view from main room. Also nice size bathroom, and extra shower room really useful. The landing blind was difficult to work, and the television smaller than most properties these days, so just some updating there may improve, but generally one of the best properties we've stayed in.
