Daffodils Lodge in Windermere receives high praise for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location close to Bowness. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches, including a Christmas tree for festive stays. The lodge is ideal for families and couples alike, offering a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions and walks.
Guests consistently note the lodge's spotless condition and the high standard of cleanliness. The lodge is described as immaculate, with several reviews specifically mentioning the clean and well-maintained state upon arrival.
The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with its proximity to Bowness, Windermere, and local attractions. Guests appreciate the ease of access to the lake, restaurants, and walks, making it a perfect base for exploring.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the lodge cosy and well-equipped. The furnishings are praised for their comfort, although there is a mention of the mattresses being too soft, which slightly impacts the score.
The lodge is well-equipped with modern facilities, and guests are generally pleased with the amenities provided. However, there are minor comments about blunt knives and the desire for larger bath towels, indicating room for improvement.
While guests express gratitude for the homely feel and special touches like a Christmas tree, there is not enough consistent mention of gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such personal touches, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.
