The lively market towns of Dereham (3 miles), Fakenham (11 miles) and Swaffham (12 miles) are fab for local shopping and dining, while children will be thanking you for weeks when you take them to roarr! Dinosaur Adventure (12.5 miles) for a day of prehistoric fun. Fancy a trip to the stunning North Norfolk Coast? Blakeney (23 miles) is an obvious choice, home to one of Britain’s top nature reserves. Explore the 3.5-mile sand and shingle spit where terns and seals thrive. For a more secluded coastal escape, Burnham Overy Staithe (21.5 miles) offers breathtaking views and an unspoilt beach, reached via a scenic stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path. If you’re feeling more energetic, visit High Lodge, Thetford, (29 miles), with an abundance of activities.
