Guests say

The Hayloft receives high praise for its cleanliness, cosy charm, and friendly owner. Guests appreciate the peaceful, rural setting and the well-equipped, tastefully decorated space. Some concerns are raised about steep stairs, narrow doorways, and slow Wi-Fi, but these are minor compared to the tranquility and comfort experienced. The property is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat with modern conveniences in a countryside location.

Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with only a single mention of dirty dishes, which seems an isolated incident. The overall impression is of a well-maintained and spotless environment.

The location is praised for its tranquility and rural charm, though some guests note the narrow access roads and lack of nearby amenities. It is considered well-situated for exploring Norfolk, offering a peaceful retreat.

The property is described as cosy and warm, with a comfortable bed and good facilities. However, some guests mention low headroom and firm mattresses, which may affect comfort for taller individuals or those with specific preferences.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a modern kitchen and ample parking. Criticisms include slow Wi-Fi, small showers, and occasional maintenance issues like power trips. The property is equipped with conveniences like a dishwasher and washing machine.

While guests find the property and its owners welcoming, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Could benefit from more cutlery as has dishwasher in place and only 2 teaspoons. Nice and cozy, loved the horses and free range roaming chickens and to be able to use the gardens with our dog. No amenities nearby so will definitely need a car for access to any pubs or shops etc. Thanks to Tony who was extremely helpful and welcoming we really enjoyed our stay x

The only real downside was that the steps are quite steep and so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The owner was very helpful.

  • Lisa

It was calming and the loft itself spotless. Will come back again.
