Located in Norfolk's Thetford forest, Dragonfly is a quirky combination of a cabin and a pod in a rural setting, and ticks all the glamping experience boxes! Alpaca walks, karting, Banham Zoo, paintballing and picturesque walks are just some of the thrilling activities nearby.

Situated in an open meadow on the outskirts of King Edward viii wood in Thetford, Dragonfly is as ethereal as the namesakes that flit over the surface of Thompson’s Water a mile away. There are miles of walks and cycles from your doorstep, so you can ditch your car and enjoy the great outdoors.

Step through the wide glazed double doors of the cabin into the cool, laid back interior and you will find the perfect spot to kick back and relax.This main cabin is a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with electric effect wood burning stove and squishy leather seating. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, gas oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and all you will need to give you the perfect home from home feel. There is also a private en-suite bathroom with a large shower, flushing toilet, wash basin, mirror and some spa essential products in the cabin. Attached to the cabin is the bespoke pod which is a spacious separate bedroom space where you will find a comfortable luxury king-size bed with pillows, duvets and sheets provided. The pod has fantastic views across the pastureland.

The outside of the cabin has a fully enclosed garden area with garden furniture, where you can sit back and relax, and a gas fire pit which you can use for warmth and ambience or turn it into a barbecue with the hot plate. Take some time to sit and watch out for the abundant wildlife – the adjacent land is owned by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust – you are sure to see some of the creatures up close.

There is complementary access to the natural swimming pool located within the Wilderness Spa; a bespoke outdoor spa experience to relax and unwind under the beautiful mature trees in King Edward viii Wood. Further information is listed below. Within walking distance there is a good pub, The Chequers Inn, where you can enjoy local ales and good food.

Two well-behaved dogs welcome a(small additional charge). Dogs must be kept on a lead and are not allowed at the Wilderness Spa.

A £100 security deposit will be applied a few days before your holiday, which will be released upon your departure.
