As you enter Wild Meadow Barn, the calm and tranquillity of the surrounding landscape is complimented by the design and the furnishing within the house. A generous, open-plan living area, comprised of sitting room, kitchen and dining area forms the 'hub' of the house. From here, you're able to access the enclosed garden and outdoor dining area through one of the many bi-fold doors that seamlessly join the two areas. The kitchen is a gourmets delight, with built in ovens, electric hob, coffee machine and of selection of fridges, freezers. For private dining options, the owner has a chef that will be available for in-house catering. Enquire with the team for more details.

Three of the four bedrooms on the ground floor offer direct access to the garden via their french doors, perfect for a coffee watching over a glorious sunrise. All bedrooms are accompanied by en-suite bathrooms, so no guest needs to be without. The pinnacle of the accommodation is found in the first floor bedroom, where you have a view over the wood, comfortable seating and the largest of the en-suite bathrooms. Perfect for a celebration!
Outside, the special nature of the location really comes to the fore. On every side you are surrounded by countryside, with a carefully looked after wild flower meadow offering a natural buffer. In the warmer months, guests can walk out into the meadow and set up with a picnic, or simply enjoy the constant activity of the native wildlife. For the more observant, you really must look to the skies for barn owls, red kites and kestrels while, underneath, Holly Blue butterflies race over the grassland. Adjacent to the property is an eight acre lake (without fish), in a woodland setting, which provides opportunities for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking. Please be aware that the use of the lake is at your own risk and equipment is not provided. Bicycle hire can be arranged locally, as well as hot tub hire, subject to the rental cost and to a £50 charge direct to the owner. A wonderful example of what makes this rural part of Norfolk so special.
Within the enclosed garden area, the owners have set up sun loungers, dining furniture and a charcoal barbecue, beyond which there is also a fire pit that is well sheltered from the wind.

Absolutely stunning barn. Perfectly placed in its own private grounds yet with access close to lots of shops and areas of interest, including the coast. It’s well placed for your Norfolk sight seeing yet perfect to just kick back and relax. The kitchen was so very well packed with every item you needed to make your stay perfect. There’s more than enough crockery etc to cover. There are 2 dishwashers even. Every detail has been well thought through. The barn is beautiful. The bedrooms spacious and the en-suites perfect.Everything worked as it should. The log fire was dreamy when the evening came. The house wasn’t cold at all, stats to set in each room. But it just made for a cosy relaxing evening. It could have done with a poker for the fire but nothing we couldn’t cope without. We had a wonderful stay and was sad when it came to an end. We can safely say it was the best place we’ve ever stayed at and will certainly be visiting again.

We've had a wonderful family holiday here. It's the nicest holiday home we have ever stayed in. Everything has been thought of. We had a delicious roast dinner at the Banningham Cown. We went to Norwich twice. We did the Shoe Box Tour there. Very interesting. We went to Wells-next-the-Sea. Very dog-friendly. Thank you.
