Located opposite an expansive waterski lake is this welcoming detached lodge. 109 Pentney Lakes is a lovely detached lodge offering a rural adventure for a family escape to Norfolk. Make your way up several steps to the wrap around decking, boasting outdoor seating where you can enjoy alfresco dining in the sunshine as you overlook the glistening lake on a summer's day. Be welcomed into a charming open-plan living space to spend a quiet evening, cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen and hosting dinner parties on the intimate dining table, toasting to a wonderful holiday over a glass of wine. You can look forward to cosying up in front of the fireplace, settling in for a film night as you lounge on one of the sofas, with glimpses of the surrounding countryside and lakeland throughout the large patio doors. As the evening draws to a close, rest and rejuvenate in one of the stunning bedrooms, comprising a snug twin room and a double bedroom, which benefits from a private WC and basin, the rooms are served by a shared walk-in shower room for a refreshing morning rinse. This fabulous accommodation rests within Pentney Lakes, spanning over 300 acres of privately managed grounds, a fishing lake, and a waterski lake to explore, ideal for afternoon strolls, leisurely picnics and watersports activities including water skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, jet skiing, alongside tranquil woodland and wildlife. Enjoy a peaceful walk over to the on-site bar which is open three nights a week during summer and two nights in the winter, home to competitive games such as darts and pool, a perfect spot to unwind after an adventurous day with a refreshing beverage. King's Lynn is just a short car ride away, a bustling port town with an abundance of amenities to keep you stocked up and well fed, browse around a wealth of shops and supermarkets, as well as delicious pubs, restaurants, and bars. Other local attractions for memorable nights out include venues for live music and arts, including The Corn Exchange theatre and cinema, the Fermoy Arts Centre, and several museums, whilst Greyfriars Tower, Red Mount Chapel, and King's Lynn Minster are worth a visit.
