Guests say

Honeybee Retreat receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches such as homemade cakes and scones. The hot tub is a highlight, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The rural setting on a working farm adds charm, though it may not suit everyone. Overall, guests are delighted with their stays, often mentioning the hospitable owners and the well-appointed lodge.

Reviewers consistently mention the immaculate condition of the lodge, highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. The term 'spotlessly clean' is frequently used, indicating a very high standard maintained by the property.

While guests find the setting peaceful and charming, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location in terms of convenience, proximity to attractions, or ease of access.

Comfort is frequently cited, with guests describing the accommodation as cosy, inviting, and comfortable. The large bed and private hot tub contribute significantly to the overall comfort of the stay.

Facilities such as the hot tub are highly appreciated, and the provision of spa towels and footwear is noted. However, some minor suggestions for improvement prevent a perfect score, such as the desire for a manual and better wardrobe facilities.

The thoughtful gestures of homemade treats and other welcoming touches are warmly received by guests. It should be noted that while these gifts are greatly appreciated, they are a courtesy and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

lovely friendly dog who visited us every day. Hot tub was great but maybe a wooden frame with top on to stop the leaves falling in the tub and some fairy lights around the area of the hot tub in the trees, just to make it more romantic, but we loved it
