Perched in the lovely village of Ringstead, Norfolk, is this superb four-bedroom, detached house, Driftwood. Enjoying a fantastic location close to the coast and local amenities, as well as a high-spec luxury interior, Driftwood is an ideal family-friendly dwelling for eight plus their two canine companions. Leave your vehicle on the spacious driveway with room for three, before stepping into your new home from home. Be welcomed into the spacious sitting room, where sumptuous sofas, a Smart TV, woodburning stove and a DVD and Blu-Ray player await, a perfect haven to return to after a day of exploring. If you fancy watching something else or keeping the littles ones entertained, there is a snug/games room with Smart TV and two games consoles. Continue through to the large and contemporary kitchen/diner, fully-equipped with all the chef of the group will need to create tasty dishes, ready to savour at the dining table for eight over bottles of fizz. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility and garage for your convenience. On warmer days, why not fire up the barbecue and dine out in the fully enclosed garden, where the little ones and pets can safely run and play and you can enjoy the wonderful views. Completing the ground floor is a well-appointed shower room, perfect for quick freshen ups! Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you can wash the day away with a soak in the bath or a refreshing rinse in the shower, before choosing from four beautifully presented bedrooms, a super-king-size with en-suite, two king-size and a twin with zip/link, both with plenty of storage for your belongings and idyllic views. Explore your surroundings, where right on your doorstep you will find the welcoming Gin Trap Inn, serving a tasty menu and local ales, a well-stocked convenience store for picking up essentials, and the Ringstead Downs, part of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, for wildlife rich walks. Next stop is Hunstanton, where you can enjoy a day on the golden sands of the beach, meeting the local marine life at the sea life centre, the delights of Rainbow Park, strolling through the Esplanade Gardens, or hiking along the Hunstanton Cliffs. On the outskirts, you will find the Old Hunstanton Deer Park and the excellent Hunstanton Golf Club. Continue onto Heacham, where you will find the stunning Norfolk Lavender meadows, Heacham Dam, and further exceptional beaches. Further afield, you will find Snettisham, home to the RSPB Snettisham, Snettisham Beach and the popular Shepherd’s Port Bar. Whisk your loved ones on a luxury escape to Driftwood.
Ringstead Bay is a pristine stretch of pebble beach on the Jurassic coast framed by dramatic cliffs and bucolic countryside. Despite the fact that the original town referenced in the end-of-the-world book has been obliterated, a small, dynamic community has emerged in the bay's rear in a wide range of interesting dwellings. It's a beautiful place to be outside, whether you prefer strolling along the South West Coast Path or exploring the many paths through the surrounding woods. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are only 11 miles distant, and 7 miles to the west is Weymouth, which is home to a gorgeous beach and a plethora of restaurants and cafes. If you can drag yourself away from Ringstead's pristine beach, you'll find a wealth of interesting day trip options within a short drive, including the Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World Rescue, and Tyneham Village.
