Head over to The Wash, the biggest nature reserve in England the most important wetland in the UK, as well as being one of the best breeding areas in England for seals! Located in the west of Norfolk, Heacham is a large village overlooking The Wash between King's Lynn and Hunstanton. It has been a seaside resort for many years and has a sandy beach which is great for all seaside activities. Within the village there is a great range of shops, pubs, restaurants to choose from as well as local businesses. Nearby is the home of Norfolk Lavender in Caley Hall, and Heacham Hall once owned by the husband of Pocahontas.
