The property's suitability for families and the presence of a log burner are frequently mentioned highlights.

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable. However, a few mentioned the presence of dust, cobwebs, and a musty smell upon arrival. These were isolated comments in a sea of positive feedback, suggesting that cleanliness is generally maintained to a high standard.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Drift. Lovely comfortable and clean cottage. Quiet location. Garden is a good size.

The drift is a lovely little cottage in a quiet and picturesque village. We stayed there in March and enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing week. It has two good sized bedrooms and one single room just large enough for a bed but no other furniture. The lounge was cosy and we lit the wood burning stove on several occasions. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. The stairs were steep but not as bad as some Norfolk cottages I have stayed in. The main issue for me was that this cottage was advertised as having an enclosed garden ‘safe for children and pups’ but when I arrived I noticed after a quick inspection that there were large areas of fencing that were almost nonexistent. I had to keep my dog on the lead whenever we went outside, otherwise he could have escaped to next doors garden and beyond. I would think twice about staying there again but only for this reason. Otherwise I would definitely recommend.

Spent an amazing week at this gorgeous, cosy and luxurious cottage. The log burner was wonderful on a cooler night and we had great fun hunting for logs in the woods we passed. A perfect cottage in a perfect location for visiting all that Norfolk has to offer. Can’t wait to stay there again.
