We've never stayed anywhere with as many kitchen tools, even a fish poacher! Comfortable bed. We both have some age related mobility problems which spoilt things a little. The stairs are very steep though there are 2 handrails. There is a lovely walk in shower and high water pressure. For us the sofas in the lounge were really uncomfortable as they are very low. We also struggled to stand up from the sofas. For the greater majority of people they would be fine. Sorry for the criticism; I've only included it to help others with mobility issues.

Comfortable beds and nice towels. Close to lots of places to visit. Good Pub just across the road and village store and tea rooms very close by. Small yard and patio area at rear gets afternoon sun. We had a lovely stay in this welcoming cottage with some very nice treats on arrival.
