Set over three floors, the accommodation offers plenty of space for larger families and friends holidaying together. The ground floor offers a large games room, with a table tennis table and pool table for guests’ enjoyment. A staircase leads up to the main residence. Opening from the hall entrance, you have a spacious kitchen, well equipped and with a breakfast island and commanding river views from all the windows. The dining room has an amazing large glass window directly overlooking the river. Also located on this floor are three great-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. The spacious 40ft living room is located on the second floor with vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows. A separate sofa area is prepared with a double sofa bed and a shower room. The wrap-around lawned garden and mature flower borders, decked seating area and summerhouse offers plenty of choice to enjoy. Mooring is available for a private launch (max 50ft), and bikes can be stored in the utility room during the day, or the garage.

Located in Hoveton, close to the heart of Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads, The Haven is within easy walking distance from riverside cafés, inns, shops and railway station. A paradise for nature lovers, The Norfolk Broads are alive with a host of birdlife including spoonbills, herons, geese, swans and ducks. Daily river trips are available to tour round this amazing area. This is an ideal location from which to explore the popular villages and broads such as Potter Heigham, Coltishall, Salhouse and Ranworth, which are all easily accessible by road or river. Horning, a picturesque village with riverside inns, restaurants, a selection of small shops and tea shops, is well worth a visit. The area is criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. There is an excellent sandy beach of Sea Palling 11½ miles away. Well worth a visit is the grey seal colony at Horsey Gap Beach, between the months of December and February there are hundreds of seal pups on the beach.

For the children, visit Bewilderwood, an outdoor adventure park at Horning, Wroxham Barns or Wroxham Miniature Worlds, the largest indoor modelling attraction in the UK. Nearby, National Trust properties include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Horsey Windpump. Alternatively, jump on the train or bus and spend the day in the fine city of Norwich with its cathedral, castle museum, two indoor shopping malls, cinema complexes, theatre and array of shops, market square and cafés. Great Yarmouth, 20 miles away, is a traditional seaside resort with funfair, model village, leisure centre, host to many sporting activities and indoor swimming pool. Further afield is the North Norfolk coastline with picturesque villages, sandy beaches, salt marsh nature and bird reserves, daily fishing and boat trips to visit the basking seal colony.
