Perched on a peaceful, unmade road in the seaside hamlet of North Gap, this light and airy bungalow makes a chic coastal retreat for a couple or small family. Boasting far-reaching views over farmland with access to the beach via the sand dunes beyond, it’s ideal for a tranquil getaway or a family-friendly holiday beside the sea. After days getting salty and sandy on the beach, enjoy a glass of wine on the sunny garden bench or curl up with a cuppa in the chic lounge.
This bright and cheerful abode benefits from large windows throughout, and a stylish, comfortable decor, giving it a homely and welcoming ambiance. The spacious lounge has a choice of elegant seating, a Smart TV, a wood-burner-effect gas fire, and patio doors overlooking farmland. Make the most of warm weather sitting in the little suntrap porch, or fire up the BBQ on the back patio and dine alfresco. Alternatively, rustle up family favourites in the bright and fresh kitchen and dine next to the picture window. When it’s time to rest your head, there are two calming bedrooms – one double and one with bunk beds – plus a family shower room along the hall.
North Gap is a hamlet of Eccles-on-Sea, with the larger resorts of Happisburgh and Sea Palling just 4 miles and 3.5 miles respectively. If you’re travelling with children, don’t miss the magical Bewilderwood (12 miles), while East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden (5.5 miles) is a delight for gardeners. To visit the Norfolk Broads, head to the Museum of the Broads at Stalham (5 miles) or Hickling Broad (9 miles).

Fantastic location behind the dunes - easy to get us & the dog on the beach!
Mr Hilson
Had a lovely stay! The Bungalow was very modern on the inside and comfortable. The beach was so easy to find from both directions from the property, just 3 houses down if you turn right but also accessible if you turn left - just brings you out to slightly different areas of a very remote beach. Was lovely to spot the odd seal bobbing around in the sea!! We had lovely long walks on the beach ( we were so lucky with the weather!!) The Cottage has a smart TV so you can access NOW TV, Amazon Prime etc as well as Freeview channels, The seating was very comfortable and we found property warm - no need for any heating during our stay at end of September. The views from the front of the Bungalow were nice and the seating just outside the main window was a real sun trap!! The kitchen was nice and bright with a very large fridge/freezer. Lots of lovely matching cups/plates/bowls and adequate cooking utensils provided. Lots of hanging space and drawers for clothing etc. The bathroom had a decent shower, lots of hot water. Glad of the shower. Lots of towels provided. The front garden of property is enclosed by a fairly low fence, we were always a bit concerned our dog (3 year old Labrador) could have jumped it but we never left him outside alone. We would recommend this property/location to a friend if they wanted a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle with a remote beach for long sandy walks... There are no shops near by, the nearest being in Sea Palling (Large Tesco in Stalham) The Road leading to the property is "Undulating" so say the least!!! - Very bumpy and sandy with no room to let other cars pass. Car parking is opposite the property on grass. We thank you for a lovely stay
