Experience - The Area...
This 18th century Cornish cottage has been sympathetically refurbished over recent years to provide comfortable holiday accommodation whilst successfully maintaining some of the cottages original charm. Admiral Cottage is located in the upper part of Boscastle just opposite the Napoleon Inn and Bottreaux restaurant.
A few minutes walk downhill into historic Boscastle with its natural harbour, you will find an array of interesting shops, award winning Visitor Centre and further eateries including the Wellington Hotel with traditional pub and fine dining restaurant and the 17th century Cobweb Inn at your disposal.
Once you have explored Boscastle then other places of interest close by include Tintagel and its castle ruins, the sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand and the quaint Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac made famous by the Doc Martin television series and Fisherman's Friends singing group.
Stay - The Accommodation...
The property can be entered conveniently from the back where the parking for one car is or from the front (High Street). Entering from the front of the property you will find the three bedrooms and family bathroom WC to the ground floor off the hallway. The three bedrooms comprise of a double bedroom and twin bedroom to the front and a bunk bedroom (3ft) to the rear. The family bathroom WC has a bath, overhead electric shower, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Heading up the stairs you will find the open plan living and dining room with original beams and comfortable easy seating for the five guests accommodated. Off the dining room is the spacious and well-appointed kitchen with all the usual appliances for your convenience. A door leads out from the kitchen to the small lawn garden and access to the parking space at the rear of the property for one medium size car.
