An incredibly clean and homely cottage. The cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The welcome pack and flowers were a wonderful touch and the milk in the fridge very much appreciated so we could have a cup of tea when we arrived. The beds were really comfortable and we didn't want to leave at the end of our week's stay. We had the most wonderful week at China Cottage and would definitely stay again.

A clean and comfortable cottage in an excellent location. The stairs are very steep but incredibly wide with hand rails on both sides and a stair gate at the top but worth being aware of. The private enclosed garden area with a magnificent apple tree accessed across a shared access yard was beautiful. The Ship Inn in the village was excellent but you need to book, especially if you want to sit in the dog friendly area. We also had an excellent lunch in Ali’s; the village shop cum cafe which is also dog friendly.
