Guests say

Southrepps Lodge is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped facilities, and attentive property management. Guests enjoyed the historical charm, ample indoor and outdoor space for large groups, and the property's proximity to local beaches and wildlife. The lodge's comfort and the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome basket, contributed to memorable stays, although there were some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the property very clean and well-appointed. However, there were isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues in the kitchen, which seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is frequently commended for its proximity to local beaches, wildlife, and the peaceful countryside. It is described as a great spot for both relaxation and exploring Norfolk's attractions.

Guests found the property comfortable with quality bed linen and ample space. Some guests mentioned issues with hot water supply and bed comfort, but these were not widespread concerns.

Facilities are generally well-received, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen and games. Some guests noted maintenance issues like non-working plugs and the need for more fridge space, which slightly impacted the score.

While guests appreciated the thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets and the provision of tea, milk, and biscuits, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and the score is set to null.

Visually very impressive on your first approach down that long drive, which sets the tone when you first enter to explore the huge interior. Near enough to many great beaches and various sites in Norfolk and lots of space. (9 adults and 5 children for us). Everybody who stays here will have varying comments whether its bed comfort or something personal to them, we didn't use the freezer facilities very much but could have done with more fridge space. It's an older property with lots of history, which does come with a few low doors so mind your head if tall like me. Being used to catering for large groups it has ample supplies of all manner of equipment. I would use it again and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thanks to Julie (property.manager) who was very helpful and sorted out any questions and issues that arose. Yes I would recommend it to others.
