In fact you're above the river next to bridge and after a downpour when the water level rises the view from windows is amazing and sounds spectacular. Apartment is beautifully laid out and spacious and 'So' comfortable and cosy, with huge sofa to relax in, and spacious kitchen area, bedrooms lovely n warm n had great sleep even though in front one you can hear river. Bonus is.... partial glass floor that shows cellar below from when it was an Inn and even got hatch access to it (if you dare)

A few mins stroll into town and easy access for the glorious surrounding countryside. Plenty of free on street parking just a few yards from the front door so don't be put off by the absence of parking at the property.

It was a real find and for anyone wanting to escape for a few days it is perfect. Beautiful walks literally begin by turning left or right from the doorstep. The only downsides are no parking, very poor internet and nowhere to hang clothes! These are easily outweighed by the positives.
