Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable and very well equipped. Good sized rooms and bedrooms. Perfectly located for the town and castle and an easy walk to the Bowes Museum. A pretty courtyard with furniture, nice area to sit if the weather permits.

Very central location and the town has everything you need, plenty of independent shops as well as a Morrisons supermarket. Cottage itself was great, very clean and modern inside with a very well equipped kitchen.
