Guests say

Westholme is consistently praised for its immaculate condition, high standard of furnishings, and thoughtful personal touches. Guests enjoy the stunning views, especially from the hot tub, and appreciate the property's peaceful location with easy access to walks and local attractions. The welcome basket is frequently mentioned as a delightful surprise, contributing to the property's charm.

Reviewers unanimously commend the property for its spotless and well-maintained state, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that consistently exceeds guest expectations.

The property's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to walks and local amenities. The only minor drawback mentioned is the need for flip-flops to reach the hot tub, which slightly impacts the perfect score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with quality bedding and a cosy atmosphere. However, a suggestion for a larger bed for taller individuals and additional coat hooks indicates room for improvement in comfort for all guests.

The property is lauded for its well-equipped nature, including a variety of books, games, and a hot tub. While the lack of a DVD/CD player is noted, the overall facilities are deemed exceptional.

The thoughtful touches, such as the welcome basket and provision of robes, are frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests. While these gestures are highly valued, it is politely noted that such gifts, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

This is the place that you need to be comfortable also a bigger fridge freezer is needed, we were there for a week and there wasn’t enough space for the food we took…

The Sunday lunch at the local hotel was delicious. This accommodation is well appointed and was spotlessly clean. We would consider a return visit as there was still more to see in the vicinity. I would recommend a visit to the Grassholme Observatory which is over the road at the top of the hill where we were treated to a great night of stargazing.
