Bramblewood Cottage is highly praised for its warm, comfortable, and spacious accommodation with stunning views. Guests appreciate the high-quality fixtures, cleanliness, and the thoughtful welcome pack provided by the friendly host. Its location is ideal for village amenities and scenic walks, making it a top choice for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
The cottage receives glowing remarks for its spotless condition, with many guests noting its immaculate presentation. One review mentioned dust and cobwebs, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback.
The location is celebrated for its proximity to village shops, scenic walks, and beautiful countryside views. Some guests found the property a bit tricky to locate, suggesting the need for clearer directions, but the overall sentiment is very positive.
Guests consistently report a high level of comfort, citing quality beds, warm and cosy atmosphere, and spacious rooms. The underfloor heating and log fire are particularly appreciated for their contribution to the cottage's comfort.
The property is well-equipped and maintained, with modern bathrooms and a well-appointed kitchen. Some guests suggested minor additions such as a non-slip mat or clearer heating instructions, but these do not detract significantly from the overall high standard.
The welcome pack and the owner's readiness to assist are frequently mentioned, highlighting the host's thoughtfulness. While these gestures are greatly valued, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Quality fixtures and fittings with perfect social space benefiting from open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Everything needed was provided. Lovely and warm property with underfloor heating; the log fire was beautiful for Sunday evening chill around the fire. Bedrooms are comfortable, perfectly clean linen and spacious. Lovely and quiet, road side but a quiet road and we didnât notice any road noise. Stunning views and enough off road gated parking for 4 cars. Nice gentle walk into Middleton Teesdale with shops and pubs. Welcome gift is a lovely touch Weâd definitely recommend this property.

Very clean and lots of space. It was no problem for the owners to supply a shower chair when asked, very helpful and appreciated. Beautiful accommodation, would stay again. Visited lots of local areas, The Teeside Hotel and Samuel James provided good food.

The view of the surrounding hills from the dining area is second to none. It has a beautiful kitchen area and all the appliances worked extremely well. The bedrooms are spacious, light and immaculately kept. The owners left a starter hamper which we found really useful. All in all, it is the perfect place to spend a holiday with friends or family and would most certainly recommend this cottage.
