  • Frances

The cottage is comfortable and very clean with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed playing golf at Matfen Hall, Slaley and Warkworth and recommend Matfen Hall if you want a treat - especially Afternoon Tea in the Orangery, or sitting on the balcony of Keepers Lodge enjoying lunch and watching other golfers (thankfully we are not the only ones to slice the ball!!). Our thanks to David and Debbie for the welcome gifts and flowers which were much appreciated.

  • Alison

Situated in a very quiet hamlet with stunning views. The welcome gifts on arrival a nice touch. A good base to visit several sites in Northumberland but just as nice to relax in the cottage, eating in the conservatory, or taking a stroll around admiring the view. the near town of Corbridge had a fantastic butchers and cake shop, the pastries were amazing. Overall a great place to stay.
