This scenic town rests just north of the mouth of the River Tyne on the north east coast of England. This is a wonderful coastal holiday destination, Tynemouth is rich with history holding fascinating buildings such as the Spanish Battery and the Tynemouth Priory and Castle. Take a trip around the great range of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, you will never want to leave! In terms of activities, the town offers an aquarium, a golf course, a variety of parks and a stunning beach with a pier and a stunning lighthouse. The bustling city of Newcastle is a short journey away, offering elite shopping, eating and drinking as well as museums and galleries. The beautiful city of Durham is also accessible by car, it offers beautiful buildings and a rich history.
