Be welcomed into a splendid property, where you have the choice of two wonderful sitting areas, including a ground-floor snug with double glass doors opening up onto the patio, an ideal spot for alfresco dinging, and a larger first-floor sitting room where all guests can curl up on the leather sofas and catch up on their favourite TV programs. The kitchen/diner is amply fitted to cater to all of your culinary needs, and has an airy atmosphere, as well as a dining table. Three bedrooms, as well as a bathroom, can be found throughout this property, with a twin on the first floor, ideal for children, and a king-size with storage and seating on the second floor, as well as a king-size zip-link, which can be set up as a twin on request. Alnwick is a fantastic area, with lots on offer for guests, beginning with the great many eateries available to you, so enjoy a meal out before enjoying a riverside walk at Hulne Park or checking out the local independent shops. The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films! The town's narrow streets have seen little change since the days when the London to Edinburgh stage coach passed through and the Market Place, with its stone cross, is still the central feature and the ideal venue for the weekly Saturday market. Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.

However we found some of the bed linen was not ironed and one bed had a ripped oversized valance tucked under the bed which one of my party got their foot caught in. Kitchen was quite well equipped but a couple of baking trays had flaking surfaces and were unusable. All areas would benefit from some general dusting and vacuuming. We did enjoy our stay and appreciated the welcome pack and information, the water was always hot , and the property warm.We would stay again.

Parking fees . Great for walking to shops ,restaurants and bars . Everything you need is provided. Very clean and comfortable . Would go back again next time we holiday in that area.

Good space inside and comfortable. I would use again. Although generally cleanliness was ok, there were some areas that could do with a spring clean.
