Packed full of character, Heron House is a lovingly restored stone terraced home sits proudly in a central spot of Alnwick town.
A short walk to the centre, Alnwick boasts a wealth of interesting places to explore. Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens and Treehouse are the most notable attractions, but there is also Barter Books a few hundred yards away, one of the UK's largest second-hand book shops set in the old Victorian railway station.

We’ve had a really relaxing few days here at Heron House. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and has everything we could possibly need. We’ve enjoyed visiting some of our favourite beaches and discovering The Running Fox cafes! Thank you for our stay in your beautiful house.

WELL! What can we say! Beautiful! Wonderful! Welcoming! An amazing stay in the beautiful Heron House. A real ‘home from home’. We absolutely love this place and hope to be back next year if possible. The best cleaned cottage we have ever stayed in, and we’re so proud to have been your first guests! The location is fab – our dog, Millie, is exhausted from her daily beach runs!
