A Luxury Hideaway in Historic Alnwick
Nursery Cottage at Alnwick has been lovingly restored from a former gardener’s cottage on the site of the old Clive Nurseries. Situated within the bounds of the town itself, the cottage is in a very quiet residential area. With the benefit of a private, secluded front garden and patio area, with stunning views of Alnwick Castle with the Moors beyond from the floor-to-ceiling master bedroom window, this little cottage is a real gem.
The easy stroll into the heart of town, with a wide range of restaurants, pubs and shops, is around 10-15 minutes. Alnwick is also home to Alnwick Castle and the world-class Alnwick Garden, with its fabulous Treehouse – creatively housing a unique restaurant. With a central location, it provides easy access to all the ‘must-see’ attractions in Northumberland, including Bamburgh, The Farne Islands, Holy Island, the medieval and picturesque village of Warkworth, and Alnmouth, with its famous ‘Balamory style’ seaside houses. Nursery Cottage is in the heart of great walking and cycling country too.

An absolutely delightful cottage, we will definitely be booking again! Nursery Cottage was so homely and welcoming. We loved how the staircase went each way to the bedrooms and we also loved everything about the welcome basket, it was fantastic! Fantastic property and fantastic company!

Nursery Cottage is a warm, welcoming property that is spotlessly clean and welcoming. It is very close to the centre of town but is still secluded which is great. The property was peaceful and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped – like a home away from home. The welcome basket was very generous and carefully considered. All bases covered. We have referred your company to our neighbours, who ended up booking one of your other properties in Bamburgh.
